What is MyFam?

MyFam is a family coordination app that helps families manage schedules, tasks, and communication through an AI assistant called Fammie.

Data We Collect

• Name, email, and phone number you provide during signup
• Tasks and calendar events you create
• Messages you send to Fammie (WhatsApp, voice, web chat)
• Google Calendar data if you choose to connect it

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the family coordination features you use
• To power Fammie's AI responses with your family context
• To send notifications via SMS, voice, or WhatsApp

Google Calendar Access

If you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events to help coordinate schedules. We store encrypted OAuth tokens. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

SMS & WhatsApp Messaging

Phone numbers and consent records collected for the AgentFam SMS / WhatsApp messaging program are used solely to deliver the messages you opted in to receive (reminders, alerts, daily summaries) and to honor opt-out and HELP requests. See our SMS program details.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or message content — with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate MyFam (e.g. Twilio for message delivery, Google for optional Calendar access), under contracts that prohibit them from using the data for any other purpose. No mobile information obtained for SMS consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
